How memecoin launchpads make money: fees, revenue and buybacks

Memecoin launchpads earn a platform fee on every trade of the tokens they launch. Revenue is the part of all fees that the launchpad keeps, and some spend part of it on buybacks of their own token.

Platform rates and buyback rules are quoted from each launchpad's docs, last checked on . Fees and revenue: DefiLlama, 30 days to 1 Oct 2026.

Where launchpad money comes from

Every trade on a launchpad pays a fee. The launchpad keeps part of it. Depending on the launchpad, other parts go to the token creator and, in a pool, to the liquidity providers. The part the launchpad keeps is its platform fee. Some launchpads also charge to create a token or to migrate it; the launch cost guide lists those.

Fees and revenue are different numbers. Fees are everything traders pay. Revenue is what the launchpad keeps after creator payouts, liquidity-provider shares and similar costs. A launchpad that shares a lot with creators keeps a small part of its fees. The creator fee guide shows that split.
