How to use the pump.fun referral code

  1. Copy VIP50 with the button above.

  2. Open pump.fun with our link, or install the pump.fun mobile app.

  3. Enter VIP50 when the app asks for a referral code. Do this before your first deposit. If you deposit first, the deposit match does not apply.

  4. Before you trade, check that VIP50 shows on your account. The trade preview then shows a 0.40% Platform Fee line instead of 0.45%.

What VIP50 changes on each trade

From 17 October 2026, every trade in the pump.fun web app or mobile app pays a Platform Fee on top of the normal pump.fun fees. The Platform Fee is 0.45% for a wallet with no referral code and 0.40% for a wallet with a code such as VIP50. pump.fun shows the fee as a separate line before you confirm a trade.

The code does not change the 1.25% bonding-curve fee or the PumpSwap fee after graduation. It also has no effect on trades in pump.fun Terminal or in other apps. Those trades pay no Platform Fee, but each of those apps charges its own trading fee.

What a trade costs with and without the code

Example: a 10 SOL buy on the bonding curve in the pump.fun app. Without a code, you pay 0.125 SOL curve fee plus 0.045 SOL Platform Fee, which is 0.170 SOL (1.70%). With VIP50, the Platform Fee is 0.040 SOL and the total is 0.165 SOL (1.65%). The saving is 0.005 SOL per 10 SOL traded.

On a $1,000 buy, the in-app cost is $17.00 without a code and $16.50 with VIP50. Solana network fees and priority fees come on top in both cases. The pump.fun fee calculator prices any trade size, with or without the code.

The deposit match for new users

pump.fun's referral rewards terms (updated 7 October 2026) give a new user a deposit match. You must apply the referral code in the mobile app before your first purchase of crypto with a card or bank account through pump.fun's payment partner. The match base is the value of that first deposit or US$50, whichever is less.

You do not get the match at once. pump.fun pays it in parts as you trade on qualifying days within a 10-day window, and the program runs only while its budget lasts. The person who referred you gets the same amount. The terms exclude the United Kingdom and the countries that pump.fun blocks in general. Do not deposit more than you can afford to lose to unlock a match.

What pump.fun is

pump.fun is a Solana memecoin launchpad. Anyone can create a token, and trading starts at once on a bonding curve. When the curve sells out, the coin graduates to a PumpSwap pool. The pump.fun statistics page shows its fees, launches and market share from live data, and the pump.fun review lists the full fee schedule with sources.

Before you trade

You trade from your own wallet, and a confirmed Solana trade is final. Most coins that graduate from pump.fun trade below their graduation value 24 hours later. Our memecoin survival study gives the numbers.

If you want a lower total fee, compare the full cost where you trade. pump.fun Terminal charges no Platform Fee but has its own trading fee, and trading apps such as FOMO and Axiom have their own fees and codes. The trading platform comparison prices the same trade in each app.
