Uniswap Labs' launchpad on Robinhood Chain, reviewed on launch modes, launch costs, the 0.25% pool fee and locked liquidity.

### Verdict

Pools is the launchpad Uniswap Labs built for Robinhood Chain. It charges no launchpad fee. Trades pay a 0.25% pool fee that compounds back into liquidity that is locked forever, and network fees are separate.

Pools launched on 5 August 2026 and now runs at pools.xyz. Compare its cost structure and activity over matching date ranges when you assess it against older platforms.

### Pros

- No launchpad fee: creators pay only network fees
- Pool fees compound back into the locked position
- Liquidity is locked in a protocol-held pool that the creator cannot remove
- Built and operated by Uniswap Labs, a known team rather than an anonymous one
- Instant Launch tokens trade from the moment they are created

### Cons

- Pools launched on 5 August 2026
- The creator fee is optional, off by default and cannot be turned on after launch
- Pools publishes no referral program for traders
- A Crowd Launch that does not reach its target refunds all bids, so the token does not start trading

### Best for

- Creators who want no launchpad fee, while allowing for the pool fee and network fees
- Traders who want liquidity that is locked forever, with pool fees that compound into it
- Creators who want to choose between an instant curve launch and a four-hour Crowd Launch

### Skip it if

- You need operating history from before 5 August 2026
- You want a guaranteed creator fee. The creator fee is off by default, and the creator must turn it on at launch
- You want a referral discount. Pools publishes no referral program for traders

### What Pools is

Pools is a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain, built and operated by Uniswap Labs, the team behind the Uniswap protocol. It went live on 5 August 2026.

### Instant Launch and Crowd Launch

Pools has two launch modes. Both start with a fixed supply of one billion tokens and end in a Uniswap v4 pool. Instant Launch is live at once and uses a bonding curve, with no graduation requirement.

Crowd Launch runs a four-hour bidding window that uses time-weighted bids to reduce bundled buys. It graduates only at $10K fully diluted value or more; otherwise all bids are refunded. In both modes, the pool fees compound back into the locked position.

### Fees and creator rewards

Pools charges no launchpad fee. Trades pay the 0.25% pool fee, and network fees apply.

Creators can turn on a creator fee at launch. The Uniswap Labs launch post says the creator gets 0.05% of the 0.25% fee, while the current Pools app says 0.1% of every buy, paid in the pair currency. The fee is off by default and cannot be turned on later. Pons has different V1 and V2 fee terms, so one creator percentage does not describe every Pons token.

On 29 September 2026, Robinhood said that swaps over $0.50 in Robinhood Wallet on Robinhood Chain have no gas fee until 31 December 2026. The offer names Robinhood Wallet only. Robinhood does not say if trades on Pools qualify, and other wallets pay normal network fees.

### Risks and limitations

Pools charges no launchpad fee, but users still pay the pool fee and network fees. A short activity series does not show how the model performs over a longer period.

### How it compares

The 0.25% pool fee on Pools differs from the version-specific terms of Pons. Current-factory Pons V1 tokens use a 1% pool fee split 70% to the creator and 30% to the protocol; legacy V1 tokens keep a 90%/10% split, while V2 terms depend on the token. See Pons vs Pools for the fee notes and activity over matching periods.

On LetsCash, the creator chooses a trading tax of 1%, 3%, 5% or 10% at launch, and the platform keeps 0.3% of each trade at every rate. See LetsCash vs Pools for that comparison.

Two other launchpads on Robinhood Chain use a 1% fee. NOXA puts each new token straight into a locked Uniswap V3 pool with a 1% fee tier. Flap.sh lists a 1% protocol fee on Robinhood Chain, as on BNB Chain.
