Editorial review date: 2026-10-01. This is not a live-data timestamp.

Maestro is a Telegram trading and sniping bot for Solana, EVM chains, Tron and TON. We checked its fees, cashback, wallet model, referral terms and the 2023 router exploit against Maestro's own docs, terms and posts.

### Verdict

Maestro charges 1% on each successful buy and sell, per its docs on 1 October 2026. Every user gets 15% to 30% of that fee back as cashback, by volume tier, so the net fee is 0.85% to 0.7%. Transfers are free. The bot trades on twelve chains from one Telegram chat, including Solana, Ethereum, BSC and Base.

Maestro is one of the older Telegram bots. Its X account dates from September 2021, and DefiLlama's fee series for it starts in July 2022. In October 2023, an attacker exploited the Maestro Router 2 contract on Ethereum. Maestro says that it stopped the attack within 30 minutes and paid 610 ETH to refund every affected wallet. The bot holds the private keys of the wallets that you use in it, so keep only trading money there.

### Pros

- Cashback of 15% (Bronze) to 30% (Diamond) of the fee for every user, with no opt-in
- Twelve chains in one bot, including Solana, Ethereum, BSC, Base, Tron and TON
- Token reports warn about honeypots, blacklist risk and taxes that the bot cannot estimate
- Transfers are free; the 1% fee applies only to buys and sells
- After the 2023 router exploit, Maestro refunded the affected wallets within 10 hours, by its own account

### Cons

- The bot keeps your wallet keys on its servers, encrypted, so a server breach is a risk that you cannot control
- The docs list no discount for a new user who joins through a referral link
- Premium costs $200 a month and adds the faster Pro bot, more wallets and more copytrade slots
- The Telegram chat interface has no charts or dashboard
- DefiLlama tracks Maestro's fees but not its volume, so trade volume is not independently visible

### Best for

- Traders who want one Telegram bot for Solana, EVM chains, Tron and TON
- Traders who want a token report with honeypot, blacklist and tax warnings before a buy
- Active traders who will reach a higher cashback tier, where the net fee falls to 0.7%

### Skip it if

- You want a web terminal with charts. Maestro works in Telegram chat only
- You want full control of your keys at all times. Maestro's terms say that it needs the private keys of your bot wallets to trade
- You want a sign-up discount. The referral program pays the referrer, and the docs list no discount for the new user
- You want to compare trade volume. DefiLlama reports Maestro's fees but no volume series

### What is the Maestro bot?

Maestro is a trading bot that runs inside Telegram. You paste a token contract address into the chat, and the bot replies with a token report. From the report you can buy, sell, set limit orders or copy the trades of other wallets. Auto Snipe buys a new token at launch on Ethereum, BSC, Base and Solana. On Solana, Auto Snipe covers tokens that launch in Raydium V4 pools.

The docs list twelve chains: Solana, BSC, Base, Ethereum, Monad, Sonic, Avalanche, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, Robinhood Chain, Tron and TON. On Solana, the bot trades on Raydium, Orca, Meteora, FluxBeam, Pump.fun and Moonshot.

Maestro's terms of service name Algo Tech Ltd. as the service provider, under the law of British Columbia, Canada. Its X account dates from September 2021. Our [Maestro profile](https://memefees.com/terminals/maestro) shows the fee data that DefiLlama reports for the bot.

### Maestro bot fees

Maestro charges 1% on every successful buy and sell, manual or automatic. Transfers between wallets have no fee. Gas, priority fees and token taxes are separate.

The bot takes the fee in two ways. On Solana, it takes the fee in the same transaction as the trade. On the other chains, it records what each Telegram account owes and takes the amount later, from the wallet with the highest balance, once the debt passes a chain minimum. The docs give minimums of 0.5 TON, 1 MON and 10 TRX for TON, Monad and Tron. The security FAQ says that such a transfer to a Maestro fee address is a fee payment. The docs list each fee address, so you can check the payments in a block explorer.

Cashback lowers the fee for every user. The rebate is 15% of the fee at Bronze, 20% at Silver, 25% at Gold and 30% at Diamond. Your tier depends on your trading volume. You claim cashback per chain after it passes a chain minimum, and the claim pays its own network fee.

Premium costs $200 a month. Premium does not lower the 1% fee. It adds the faster Maestro Pro bot, a launch simulator, 10 wallets per chain instead of 8, 12 copytrade wallets per chain instead of 5, and more limit orders.

### Is the Maestro bot safe?

Maestro is a working bot with a long record, but it holds your keys. You can create a wallet in the bot or import one. Maestro's security FAQ says that all private keys are AES encrypted on its servers. The terms say that Maestro needs the private keys of a wallet to make trades, and that it does not take custody of your assets. In practice, the bot can sign transactions from any wallet that you add to it. The wallet setup page tells users to make a new wallet and not to import their main wallet.

The known incident is the Router 2 exploit in October 2023. On 25 October 2023, Maestro posted on X that an attacker had used a flaw in its Router 2 contract on Ethereum mainnet to take tokens from the wallets of some users. Maestro said that the attacker sold the tokens for about 280 ETH. Maestro also said that its team stopped the attack within 30 minutes, because the router is an upgradeable proxy that it could patch. Trading came back within 2 hours.

In a second post the same day, Maestro said that every affected wallet got a full refund within 10 hours. For 9 of the 11 tokens, Maestro bought the tokens back and returned them, at a cost of 276 ETH. For the other 2 tokens, JOE and LMI, it paid the ETH value plus 20%, at a cost of 334 ETH. The total was 610 ETH. Maestro said that wallet keys were not exposed in the attack.

We found no other reported exploit of Maestro as of 1 October 2026. Our search does not prove that none happened. In June 2023, Maestro also cleared all unpaid fees that users owed up to 12 June 2023, per its fee docs.

To lower the risk, turn on two-factor login for your Telegram account. Write your private key on paper and delete the message from the chat, as the security FAQ says. Keep only the money that you plan to trade in a Maestro wallet. The tokens are the bigger risk: most new memecoins lose most of their value, as our [memecoin survival study](https://memefees.com/research/memecoin-survival-2026) shows.

### How to use Maestro

Open the official bot from maestrobots.com and press Start. Pick your chains, then create or import a wallet for each chain. You can connect up to 8 wallets per chain. Fund the wallet, then paste a contract address to get the token report.

Set slippage, gas and the auto-buy checks before your first trade. The bot can block an auto-buy when it finds a blacklist risk. Other warnings, such as a honeypot or a tax that it cannot estimate, tell you to stop and check the token. The warnings do not make a token safe.

### Maestro referral program

Maestro pays the referrer a 25% lifetime commission on the fees of each new user who starts the bot through the referral link. The link counts only for a user who starts the bot for the first time. A token link can also earn a share: when an existing referred user trades through it, the original referrer and the link owner split the 25%.

The docs list no discount or bonus for the new user. Every user gets the same 15% to 30% cashback, with or without a referral link. MemeFees has no Maestro referral code, so the button on this page is a plain link to Maestro.

### What the data shows

DefiLlama lists Maestro in its Telegram Bot category and reports its fees. It does not publish a volume series for Maestro, so our tables show a dash for volume. On EVM chains the bot collects fees in batches, not per trade, so daily fee totals do not convert cleanly to daily volume.

### Maestro vs Trojan, Banana Gun, Bloom and GMGN

All five bots list a 1% fee on most trades. Banana Gun charges 0.5% on manual Ethereum trades. The other differences are the discounts, the chains and the interface. Bloom gives 10% off the fee to users who join through a referral link. Maestro, Trojan and Banana Gun do not list a discount for new users. Maestro and Trojan both pay cashback to every user.

Maestro covers the most chains of the five, including Tron and TON. Trojan trades only Solana spot. Trojan, GMGN and Banana Gun also have web terminals. The comparison table on this page shows each bot's listed fee and its DefiLlama fees for the last 30 days.
