Editorial review date: 2026-10-01. This is not a live-data timestamp.

A Solana memecoin launchpad using bonding-curve trading and graduation to PumpSwap.

- **Category:** Launchpad

- **Chain scope:** Solana

- **Website:** https://pump.fun

- **Fees:** 1.25% total bonding-curve trading fee, including a 0.30% creator fee. PumpSwap canonical-pool fees vary with market cap and quote asset; network fees are separate.

- **Coverage:** Profile and reported platform metrics

- **Live since:** 2024

- **How it works:** Tokens initially trade on a bonding curve. When the curve completes, liquidity migrates to PumpSwap, pump.fun's DEX for post-graduation trading.

- **Launch cost:** No platform launch fee; network fees apply

- **Graduation:** Bonding curve fills → automatic migration to PumpSwap

- **Creator rewards:** Creator fees apply on the bonding curve and on canonical PumpSwap pools. The published curve creator fee is 0.30%; post-graduation rates follow the current fee schedule. On a holder rewards coin (from 12 September 2026), the creator fee goes to the coin's holders.

- **Data note:** DefiLlama tracks pump.fun (bonding curve) and PumpSwap (post-graduation DEX) as separate protocols; this page shows the launchpad side only.

### How it works

1. **Create a coin for free.** A new coin has a supply of 1 billion and starts trading at once on a bonding curve. No liquidity is seeded. Since 21 May 2026 a creator can pair the coin with USDC instead of SOL. [Source](https://pump.fun/docs/fees)
2. **Trade on the curve.** The curve prices each trade from virtual reserves, in the same way as a constant-product pool. Every buy and sell pays 1.25%. [Source](https://github.com/pump-fun/pump-public-docs/blob/main/docs/PUMP_PROGRAM_README.md)
3. **The curve completes.** The curve is complete when its last real token is sold. Then anyone can call the migrate instruction, which moves the liquidity to a canonical PumpSwap pool. The old path to Raydium is disabled. [Source](https://github.com/pump-fun/pump-public-docs/blob/main/docs/PUMP_PROGRAM_README.md)
4. **Fees change with market cap.** On the canonical PumpSwap pool, the fee depends on the coin's market cap in SOL or USDC. A larger market cap means a lower total fee and a lower creator share. [Source](https://pump.fun/docs/fees)
5. **Creators or holders collect.** A creator can claim the creator fee alone or split it among several wallets. On a holder rewards coin, pump.fun pays the creator fee to holders and the creator claims nothing. [Source](https://github.com/pump-fun/pump-public-docs/blob/main/docs/HOLDER_REWARDS_README.md)
6. **Revenue buys back PUMP.** pump.fun's fee dashboard says half of every dollar it earns buys PUMP on the open market and burns it. The same page says its buyback figures are not correct for custom pairs yet. [Source](https://fees.pump.fun/)
